
Traci Antoine
Traci Antoine is ordained reverend, and the Director of the Office on Violence Against Women sponsored Domestic/Sexual Violence Project for Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts. Rev. Antoine is a consultant for the Institute on Domestic Violence in the African American Community (IDVAAC). She also manages IDVAAC’s Boston African American Domestic Peace Project. Before assuming her current position, Traci was the Project Coordinated for Safe Haven’s Interfaith Partnership Against Domestic Violence (Technical Assistance providers for the Office on Violence Against Women). In this role she provided both local and national training on domestic violence and faith, and helped to create, coordinate and implement local and national outreach, advocacy and education. Rev. Antoine is a native of Boston. She received her formal education at both University of Massachusetts and Northeastern University (’89). In October of 2015, Traci will be honored for work in the African American Community, as the first recipient of Safe Haven’s IMPACT Award. This award is given to Individuals Making Progress against Abuse in Communities Together.
